George Cass - 18th September 1728 - H001

Knaresborough

To my son Stephen Cass my Cherry Garth and pasture adjoining in Bridge Gate [Briggate ?] and £200, when he reaches 21.

To my wife Anne Cass and my son Thomas Cass, whom I appoint Executors, equally between them, the house in which I now live, together with the kiln, Cherry Garth and orchard.

Should my wife remarry then my son Thomas to have the property, chargeable with an annuity of £5 to my wife.

I appoint my brothers George Cass of Knaresborough, William Beckwith of Knaresborough, Larwen Hodgson and Martin Hodgson of Ripley, to be Trustees.

Witnesses : William Burnett, Percival Gallon, Elizabeth Busby, William Woodburn

Memorial of Will registered at the West Riding Registry of Deeds on 20th June 1755 in AL 189 257.
