Scriven with Tentergate, Widow

To my sister Mary Pope, £200.

To my nephew Timothy Briggs, £20.

To my niece Sarah Briggs, £5.

To Ellen Dodgson, two guineas.

To the son and daughter of Samuel Moorhouse £10 each.

To William Bradley of Stainburn, £5.

To Hannah Owram of Scriven with Tentergate, £5. To each of her children, 20s each.

To my goddaughter Oates, two guineas.

To the poor widows and fatherless children in Hartwith with Winsley, £200 to be placed at interest by the Overseer of the Poor, and the interest to be divided amongst them twice yearly.

To the poor widows and fatherless children of the Parish of Ripley, £200 to be placed at interest by the Rector of Ripley, and the interest to be divided amongst them twice yearly.

I give 3d each to the poor at my funeral.

All my household goods to be sold and the money to go to the poor.

I appoint William Coates of Ripley, and Samuel Moorhouse, as Executors.
