Felliscliffe, Parish of Hampsthwaite, Gentleman

To my daughter Anne Lax, wife of John Lax, £50, 1 year after the death of my wife Sarah Stubbs.

To my daughter Alice Stubbs, £100, 1 year after my death. Also a further £50 1 year after the death of my wife.

To my son Thomas Stubbs £100 1 year after the death of my wife.

To my daughter Sarah Stubbs, after the death of my wife, my copyhold property, now occupied by William Marston.

To my son Joseph Stubbs my copyhold property in Hampsthwaite, now occupied by William Askwith, after the death of my wife.

To my son William Stubbs my copyhold property at Beckwithshaw, now occupied by Benjamin Willans, after the death of my wife.

To my sister Isabel an annuity of £6 chargeable to my estate at Beckwithshaw.

I give all my real estate to my wife Sarah, subject to the above.

I appoint Edward Bainbridge, Vicar, and William Harrison, Butcher, both of Hampsthwaite, as Trustees.

All my good, chattels and personal estate to my wife Sarah, whom I appoint Executrix

Witnesses : Arthur Hardisty, Peter Patrick, William Simpson of Felliscliffe
