Harrogate, Yeoman

To my sisters Mary Crossland and Frances Goodlad, wife of Joseph Goodlad, one guinea each.

To Rev Philemon March of York, one guinea.

To my friend Thomas Waud, near Monk Bar, York, Gentleman, £6.

To Mrs Margaret Russell, of Harrogate, Mrs Eleanor Cooper, my tenant, Mrs Sarah Whitaker, Mrs Mary Marshall, late servant to Mrs Fothergill, deceased, and Ralph Bell of Stonegate, York, Gunsmith, one guinea each.

To the Clerk of Harrogate Chapel 5s to sing a psalm at my funeral, from my house past the Spaw Houses.

All my real estate at Knaresborough and Bilton with Harrogate, to my wife Agnes Crossland.

I wish that Mrs Eleanor Cooper be allowed to continue to rent the house and shop she currently occupies, at a yearly rental of £10.

All my personal estate, goods and chattels to my wife.

I appoint my wife and Thomas Waud as Executors.
