Roll of Honour

A War Office notification has been received by ex-Colour Sergeant & Mrs William Swires, High Street, Knaresborough, of the death of their eldest son, Sapper F S Swires (35), of the Royal Engineers, killed in action on the 6th inst. Sapper Swires had been with the forces just over twelve months, and had previously been in Canada for twelve years. Mr & Mrs Swires have received numerous expressions of sympathy in their loss.
